The Acme Clown Company combines masks, slapstick, classic clown routines, vaudeville, commedia dell'arte, melodrama, puppets, and 'method' acting to celebrate the inspired lunacy, organized chaos, and antic actions that make up the world of the clown.
We specialize in circus, theatrical, and avant garde clowning.

The Acme Clown Company provides clown services in the following areas:

WALKAROUNDS:


We provide improvisational strolling performances that combine classic clown hijinks with good old-fashioned meet and greet. Perfect for Fairs, Festivals, Fairs, Parades, Ho-Downs, Trade Shows, Conventions, and other events where fun is of the essence. email kafclown@well.com for rates.

CLASSES, WORKSHOPS, & RESIDENCIES:


Interactive, Goal Oriented, Learning Intensive and Fun! We offer instruction in:

THE ACME MINIATURE CIRCUS


Trained Fleas Performing Spectacular Circus Stunts and Stunning Sideshow Antics as seen before (and on top of ) the Crowned Heads of Europe.

THE ONE SURE THING: A CABARET ON DEATH


A play/cabaret/show process that explores through poems, skits, songs, clown gags and stories the one sure thing.

COLLABORATIONS


We are always open to new ideas about shows, collaborations, partnerships, co-productions, and other imaginative endeavors. We encourage other artists to think of ways to use the vast array of clown, vaudeville, comedy, and circus expertise that we have.If you have an idea for a show, performance, or other event give us a call. We'll be happy to brainstorm the idea and give our professional clown opinion on it.
